Sovereign Bank Checking Account Bonus
Sovereign Bank is in the giving spirit. They are offering a nice checking account bonus of $100. In order to be eligible, you must open a Premier or Interest Checking Account and deposit $10 as well as get a check card with the account.
The only down side is that anyone who has had a checking account with Sovereign bank or any of its subsidiaries in the last 6 months will not be eligible to get the $100.
You will also be required to make at least $250 dollars worth of check card purchases within 60 days of opening the account. Following that you will receive the bonus 15 days later to your account.
Remember that this checking account is not a free monthly account. You will be charged a $5 dollar fee unless you get direct deposit.
